Description

Please join us for our Non Profit Round Table Meeting to discuss Grants and Board of Director Development.

We will be meeting at the Community Christian Church / Sportsplex at 8:30 am and share a light breakfast that will be served and sponsored by Tortilla Flatz.

Our Speakers for our meeting are Ms. Michelle Allen, VP & Chief Development Officer at Cornerstone Service and Mr. Gregory T. Peerbolte, Chief Executive Officer of the Joliet Area Historical Museum.

Bio on Michelle Allen:
Michelle Allen is the Vice President/Chief Development Officer at Cornerstone Services. She has over 20 years of experience in grant writing for government and non-profits. She also oversees the marketing, public relations, social media, fundraising, planned giving and endowment at Cornerstone in Will, Kankakee and Cook County. Through her grant writing efforts, she has secured millions of dollars for program services, rehabs of current homes, building of new homes, leasing dollars to expand services, creation of a new Wellness Center for Cornerstone, creation of two new computer labs, funding for creative art therapy and much more! Ms. Allen has been an active board member at Will County Center for Community Concerns for 11 years and is a past President of the Channahon-Minooka Rotary Club.

Michelle lives in the Channahon/Minooka area with her husband, Brad. They have two adult sons, Aidan and Alex, who proudly attend the University of Louisville.
Bio on Gregory Peerbolte:

Gregory Peerbolte is a non-profit professional with nearly fifteen years of administrative and operating experience in the field; Experienced in the art of successful fundraising and sound fiscal management & budgeting; Extensive background in development, public relations, marketing, and community outreach; Published author and thorough researcher; Widespread appearances in print, online, radio and television media in local, regional and national markets; Expertise in social media and web-based promotion; Practiced in Board relations and development, both working with serving on BOD's.
